About the event
An Introductory Trailing Certification provides both foundational training in wildlife trailing and a first look into the formal trailing evaluation process. Participants have the opportunity to earn a Level 1 Trailing Certificate.
Depending on conditions and what the landscape offers, participants may follow either a wildlife or human trail. Each person can expect to spend 30–60 minutes on point, actively leading on a trail.
This will be an intimate, immersive workshop for a small group of five, spending the day following the stories the land and its inhabitants leave behind. It’s designed for beginner trailers, though prior experience with track and sign interpretation is recommended.
Senior Tracker and International Evaluator, Casey McFarland, will be facilitating. See Casey's bio.
The tuition for the 1-day workshop is $250. (Venmo or PayPal) Please be informed of our Cancellation Policy before finalizing your registration and paying tuition.
