The CyberTracker Track and Sign Certification is a globally recognized, professional-level qualification designed to enhance wildlife tracking skills and knowledge. This two-day field experience serves as both an assessment and a learning opportunity, focusing on open dialogue and meaningful education.


Participants may be asked to identify the tracks and signs of any species encountered, regardless of size, clarity, or age. After answering a set of questions, participants engage in a discussion with the evaluator, allowing everyone to deepen their understanding of field marks, wildlife behavior, and natural history. These Tracker Certifications prioritize practical tracking skills and the development of dependable field abilities.


Track and Sign Evaluator, Casey McFarland, will be evaluating.


Four Corners Wildlife will be supporting local Colorado Springs tracker, Christopher Hunt, in hosting this two-day training and certification. Christopher Hunt (he/he or they/them) is a Colorado Springs based wildlife tracker. In addition to being a professor at Colorado College, Christopher has a deep passion for connecting people from marginalized communities to the outdoors.
